Coordination: M8 (Action 3)
The Coordination score (metric M8) checks that working contact information for your ASN is publicly registered. Anything less than 100% shows as failing; there is no partial credit.
What is checked
Contact records for your ASN in:
- Your RIR's WHOIS database (ARIN, RIPE, APNIC, LACNIC, AFRINIC)
- PeeringDB
How to fix a low score
- Update the admin/tech/abuse contacts on your ASN object at your RIR.
- Create or update your PeeringDB record with a valid NOC contact.
- WHOIS data is re-synced periodically. Once it updates, the score reflects it within about a day, as reports regenerate daily.
To update the contact details MANRS itself holds for your participation (conformance report recipients, account holders), see the FAQ. That is separate from WHOIS data.
